This page contains the current efforts towards developing a web-based communication platform to bring members of Congress, citizens, and advocacy groups into meaningful political dialogue.

Proposed Plan

This is laid out as a starting place for the discussion and is by no means to be considered determined or set in stone.

  • Establish Partnerships
    • Congressional offices (minimum 4; 1 from each party, house/senate)
    • Advocacy Groups (can also be used for fundraising??)
    • Citizen community
  • Feature set development
    • Develop initial suggestions for feature set
    • Engage partners for feedback on our proposals
    • Modify as necessary
    • (multiple iterations as necessary)
  • Naming/Branding
    • Determine url, site name, etc...
  • User Interface
    • Create user interface mock-ups
    • Present partners with proposed interface design and get feedback
    • Modify as necessary
  • Development
    • Modify NationBuilder to provide feature set and user interface
    • Get feedback from partners
    • Modify as necessary
  • Go Live!!
    • Roll out the system
    • Ongoing iteration, checking in with partners to continue bug resolution, issue improvement
