“I started the Open Forum Foundation because I have a deep and abiding interest in the power of the individual. I whole-heartedly accept that the world will be a better place when everyone has the opportunity to pursue their dreams. The ability for each individual to engage in meaningful political dialogue with their government is a mandatory first step towards this broader goal.”

Responsibilities

The Executive Director is responsible for managing the daily operations of the organization and overseeing successful completion of all projects. This includes Management; Development and Fundraising; and community building and outreach to grow and establish the Board of Directors, a panel of advisors, partners, and citizens.

Autobiography

“I bring a diverse history to the Open Forum Foundation that seems to have uniquely prepared me for the issues that the Foundation focuses on (of course, it helps that I developed the organization). This history includes a BS Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MS International Relations from New York University. For work, I have years of experience in management, entrepreneurship, computers, web work, and electoral reform in addition to a smattering of other things. For passion, I have interests in people, how they relate to one another, and the role that governments play in creating or limiting the opportunities that the average person experiences.
